HUMC offers many ways for adults to connect with others in studies and in fellowship. You can find studies or common interest groups that meet on different days of the week and on different topics of interest. There is something for all age groups, stages of life, and different schedules. Learn more by exploring here.
There are many groups, times, and topics available. Studies could be in depth on a section of the Bible or a discussion of a book, video, or other topic. Herndon UMC's Annual 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament is on March 9 (starting at 8 am)!
New this year, the tournament proceeds help fight hunger!

Rise Against Hunger! This year the tournament proceeds will support a food packing event for Rise Against Hunger that will be held at Herndon UMC on April 28, 2019. Help us reach our goal of 25,000 meals. Help serve those in need of food.
Tournament sponsorship is also available for $250. Sponsors names are included on the event t-shirts if received before February 25.

The donation for registration or sponsorship may be paid by check or online when you submit your form. Please be sure to include the team name with your payment. Your contribution of $100 is fully tax deductible because Herndon United Methodist Church has provided no goods, services or other items of value in return for your contribution.
All Herndon UMC men are invited to the annual Men's Retreat with this year's theme of "No Worries" that will be held on March 1 - 2. The retreat program will be conducted by Ryan Oswald, Pastor at Mint Spring UMC in Staunton, VA. In the past Ryan served as an Associate Pastor here at Herndon UMC. The retreat will be held at the Claggett Center, not far from Frederick, MD. This will be our third year at the Center which offers us our own retreat cottage with good meals served in the dining hall.
The retreat cost will be $99.00 per person for one night and three meals at the Center. We will depart from the church at 4:30 pm on Friday, March 1, and return to the church no later than 4pm on Saturday.
