• Neighbors in Need will once again be providing meals for the Fairfax County North County Emergency Hypothermia Shelter in Reston. As you know weather in this area can be very difficult to forecast. So far we are below average temperatures and much snow is predicted to come.

  • Herndon UMC's Student Ministry will once again be blessing us with a luminary display on Christmas Eve. Please bring your clean milk (or water) jugs and drop them by Sheri’s office. The more we have, the more beautiful it is.

  • Herndon UMC is one of the local congregations which support The Closet through their volunteer service. This is a great opportunity for adults or for high school students. Service hours will count for high school students. You can do your part to help The Closet continue to be successful by offering a few hours of time to meet Herndon UMC’s

  • This rapidly growing ministry of Herndon UMC is in need of your help to build on a good team already in place. We need another greeter, a chemistry back-up tutor and any and all who are proficient in high school math subjects. Your commitment is about 1 hour per week. Tutoring takes place every Wednesday night from 7-8 pm.


  • Every Sunday morning, Herndon UMC hopes to offer a time that invites members to connect and welcomes our members and guests.

    On the second Sunday of every month, have a shared fellowship time in the Fellowship Hall entry way with coffee, lemonade, tea and snacks to share between the 9am and 10:30am services.
