Sunday morning hospitality encourages those attending either worship to hang around a bit longer and allows deeper relationships to develop. To be the warm and welcoming community, that we like to think we are, requires help from our Herndon UMC family.
On the first Sunday of every month, we will have a shared fellowship time between the 9AM and 10:30 services in the Doe Hall entrance with coffee, lemonade, tea and snacks.
All of our other Sundays we will continue with “Sacred Grounds”, but will serve coffee, tea, lemonade and water in the hallway outside of the sanctuary after 9am worship and drinks before and during the 10:30am worship, serving from the main kitchen window.
We continue to need your help to create warm and welcoming times of fellowship, both with the First Sunday joint fellowship time and the weekly Sacred Grounds at both 9am and 10:30am.
