The Out of the Darkness puppet troupe is for those in 7th grade and up.  Practice is held on Sundays from 7 to 8:30 pm, during the school year.

Contact Melanie Ayers, for more information.

Out of the Darkness are a black-light puppet troupe who perform under ultra violet lighting.

The group grew out of our highly successful younger puppet troupe, Hands Up for God back in 2011.

A trademark of this troupe is to take popular secular music and change the way in which our audiences relate to the songs by connecting it with images of God's word, stories from the Bible, and the ideas of Christian love and caring for others.  This award winning troupe can be seen each October and February during one of our Wednesday night GIFT Dinners here at HUMC, at the closing ceremony of our UPWARD Regular Season and during our annual Spring Mission Concert.  It is our hope to eventually 'take our show on the road' and spread the word!

"For God, who said "Let light shine OUT OF THE DARKNESS" made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God's glory, displayed in the face of Christ." (2 Corinthians 4:6)
