You are welcome at Herndon UMC for Christmas! From the Family Advent Celebration to celebrating Epiphany with the music of “Amahl and the Night Visitors” and especially for worship on Christmas Eve, join us in exploring the hope, peace, joy, love and light of the season.
A Christmas Service of Grief, Remembrance & Grace — Wednesday, 12/21 at 7:30 pm. This service acknowledges the space that grief leaves in our heart while simultaneously remembering that we worship a God who is with us in the darkest of times. In person and on YouTube.

Share in the poinsettia celebration this Advent season by making a contribution in memory or in honor of a loved one of friend. A special listing of donors will be available on Christmas Eve.

HHS Madrigals and students from HHS and HMS instrumental groups will perform a benefit concert in the Herndon UMC Sanctuary. The concert is free. Donations to support a Rise Against Hunger food packing event at Herndon High School in the Spring of 2023 will be gratefully accepted.
It’s not too late to sign up! Music is now available. Middle and high school instrumentalists along with adults from the community provide Christmas music for the 10am worship service. Click to learn more. Donations for Rise Against Hunger will be collected during the service, as well.
Stay after 10 am worship to make an Advent Wreath for your home or for a friend or neighbor! There will be hot chocolate, Christmas music, and warm company while crafting. Bring greens to share and drop them off in the Fellowship Hall before worship. Helpers wanted for set-up too!
