“Roomy Faith” Worship — May 17

May 15, 2020 | Worship

Herndon UMC offered an online worship experience on Sunday, May 17 at 10 am.  Listen as Pastor Jonathan continues the sermon series, “Roomy Faith” talking about “God at Rest”.  This service is available through the Herndon UMC YouTube channel and Herndon UMC’s Facebook page.

There is a bulletin to help you follow along with the service. The pdf document can be downloaded from here (bulletin-0517).

There is also a video version of KIDS CLUB posted on our Herndon UMC YouTube channel KIDS CLUB at Home playlist.

It is still the Easter season, and we are still going to celebrate Easter in person when we get a chance to.  Please help us celebrate by coloring a page (or more) the Alleluia Mosaic.   [AlleluiaMosaic.pdf]  We will assemble as many pictures as we can when we are finally together in person again.

Each week you are asked to gather a candle and a symbol for worshiping from home.  You are invited to share pictures of your candles and symbols and of your spaces for the remaining weeks of this “Roomy Faith” series.  The pictures of spaces will be collaged, like the image for this week.  Next week will be bathrooms, and the last week is outside in the yard.  We are looking for all styles of living spaces–apartments, condos, houses, etc.  Please send your pictures to julie@herndonumc.org to contribute to the visuals for our services.

As always, glory sightings and prayer concerns may be shared by email to prayerchain@herndonumc.org; and offering may be given online at bit.ly/HerndonGives through Paypal at PayPal.me/herndonumc or may be mailed to Herndon UMC at 701 Bennett Street, Herndon, VA 20170.  If you need pre-addressed envelopes, contact julie@herndonumc.org.

The mission of Herndon UMC is to serve and share God’s Love in community.
