You are invited into this worship experience for the week of Sunday, May 30.
Over the last 15 months, our world has been turned upside down. As we return to in-person gatherings each week, this three-week series will be an invitation to reflect on what we’ve learned in the pandemic, where we find ourselves now, and what is to come. Looking through the lens of Scripture, we’ll experience encouragement that while what we are going through now is unique to us, it is not unfamiliar to God. While everything has changed and most of us would mark the time of pandemic as one that includes grief and pain, the Lord is our strength. How and where might we testify to this?
No matter where you worship from, you are encouraged to add your voice to prayers and songs and stand as you are able. There is a bulletin linked below to help you experience worship. It includes links and information to help you be connected at Herndon UMC along with the order of worship. As always, we want to stay connected and are a community of prayer. Glory sightings and prayer concerns may be shared by text, in the chat, through this online form, or at any time by email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are new or looking to get more connected or learn more about Herndon UMC, please email email@example.com or complete this online form. You are welcome here and we would love to grow in a Spirit-filled relationship with you.

Building Relationships and More
Costa Rica Mission Project
CRMP is about building churches and relationships in the Zona Sur. Members from Herndon UMC have experienced the transformation of serving others in mission through CRMP since 2009. We go back year after year if permitted. Even when we can not go back we honor that relationship by supporting the ongoing work.
A quote from Wil’s blog, “This is church. We worship together. We pray together. We serve one another and are served by one another. We build relationships with one another. We witness to those around us. We are church.”
Normally the mission trip to Costa Rica would take place near the end of May. To remember our commitment to this mission, even when we are not able to go in person, we are focusing on the mission of CRMP for the next few weeks.
Your donations support Herndon UMC’s mission to serve and share God’s love in community.
