“Changing Spots” Worship — June 28

Jun 27, 2020 | Worship

Herndon UMC is offering an online worship experience on Sunday, June 28 at 10 am.  Come listen as Jonathan continues the sermon series “Changing Spots” and discusses the transformation of Saul/Paul through God’s constant love.  This service will be available here on the website, through the Herndon UMC YouTube channel, and on Herndon UMC’s Facebook page.

There is a bulletin to help you follow along with the service. The pdf document can be downloaded from here (bulletin-0628).

There is also a video version of KIDS CLUB posted on our Herndon UMC YouTube channel KIDS CLUB at Home playlist.

Worshipers are encouraged to participate.  Each week worship participants are asked to gather a candle and a symbol for worshiping from home.  No matter where you are, please add your voice to prayers and songs and stand as you are able.

As always, we want to stay connected and are a community of prayer.  Glory sightings and prayer concerns may be shared in the video chats, in the online form, or by email to prayerchain@herndonumc.org.

Your donations support Herndon UMC’s mission to serve and share God’s love in community.  Donations may be given online at bit.ly/HerndonGives through Paypal at PayPal.me/herndonumc or may be mailed to Herndon UMC at 701 Bennett Street, Herndon, VA 20170.  If you need pre-addressed envelopes, please contact julie@herndonumc.org.

We also ask that you let us know if you are worshiping with us, who is there worshiping with you and where you are.  This can be done in the stream chat and comments, or by email to office@herndonumc.org.  Want to get more connected or more information about Herndon UMC?   Please complete this online form

After worship, join in a time of fellowship via Zoom!  We will reflect on worship, consider what God might be calling us to do, and enjoy some time and space together.  The link to join is bit.ly/SundayFellowship.

Looking for some more worship music that follows this week’s theme?  Shannon and Patrick have created a playlist on YouTube of other songs.  There are five modern and five traditional songs on the playlist.  (Jump to the modern music.)

The mission of Herndon UMC is to serve and share God’s Love in community.
