Herndon UMC offered an online worship experience on Sunday, July 12 at 10 am. Listen as Jonathan wraps up the sermon series “Changing Spots” and discusses how Jesus is unchanging into eternity. This service is available here on the website, through the Herndon UMC YouTube channel, and on Herndon UMC’s Facebook page.
There is a bulletin to help you follow along with the service. Contents include the week’s announcements, links to help with your worship experience, and the order of worship. The pdf document can be downloaded from here (bulletin-0712).
Worshipers are encouraged to participate. Each week worship participants are asked to gather a candle and a symbol for worshiping from home. No matter where you are, please add your voice to prayers and songs and stand as you are able.
As always, we want to stay connected and are a community of prayer. Glory sightings and prayer concerns may be shared in the video chats, through this online form, or by email to email@example.com.
Your donations support Herndon UMC’s mission to serve and share God’s love in community. Donations may be given online at PushPay.com/g/herndonumc through Paypal at PayPal.me/herndonumc or may be mailed to Herndon UMC at 701 Bennett Street, Herndon, VA 20170. If you need pre-addressed envelopes, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
We also ask that you let us know if you are worshiping with us, who is there worshiping with you and where you are. This can be done in the stream chat and comments, or by email to email@example.com. Want to get more connected or more information about Herndon UMC? Please complete this online form.
After worship, join in a time of fellowship via Zoom! We will reflect on worship, consider what God might be calling us to do, and enjoy some time and space together. Break out rooms will form around 11am, but don’t feel rushed. We can put you into a group if you come late. The link to join is always bit.ly/SundayFellowship.
Looking for some more worship music that follows this week’s theme? Shannon and Patrick have created a playlist on YouTube of other songs. There are five traditional and five modern songs on the playlist. (Jump to the modern music.)
