Mark your calendar for Friday and Saturday, November 5 & 6.
God created us to be free in the spirit but the world may have changed us to be someone we’re not. Come explore and embrace who God wants you to be – your Godly authentic self and a work in progress.
You are the one who created my innermost parts;
you knit me together while I was still in my mother’s womb.
— Psalm 139:13
Join Reverend Flor Norris-Hoydilla and JoAnn Batteiger as they leads us in exploring what this means for each of us.
This in-person retreat will be held at the Claggett Center (3035 Buckeystown Pike, Adamstown, MD 21710). Take a look at this beautiful retreat center at: www.claggettcenter.org.
The cost of the retreat is $140, which includes the program, room and board. Space is limited so don’t delay in signing up. If you have questions (or would like to be added to the waitlist if registration is filled), please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Serving and sharing God’s love with others is important to Herndon United Methodist Women (UMW), and everyone is encouraged to support our women in mission throughout the world. Since we are headed into the holiday season, we have chosen to send out Christmas greeting cards. We will be providing materials but are asking for donations of any unused Christmas cards to help with the project.
